AFC Urgent Care has announced a new partnership with the nonprofit Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital in Santa Clarita, California, for existing AFC clinic locations in Valencia and Canyon Country, according to a press release. With a coordinated model, the urgent care centers can refer patients to the hospital’s care sites for follow-up, specialty visits, or higher levels of care as appropriate. Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital also operates its own branded urgent care center, located on the campus of the 357-bed hospital in Valencia, California.
Growth trajectory: Earlier this year, AFC announced the launch of a medically-supervised weight management pilot program at more than 30 of its franchise locations beginning in March, and treatment offerings include GLP-1 medications. Just over a year ago, AFC surpassed 400 total clinic sites, and it often ranks in the number-1 position in Urgent Care’s Top 100. Watch for the 2026 update of the Top 100 coming this summer from JUCM.
