All the clinical expertise in the world won’t help you treat patients efficiently and properly if the tools of your trade aren’t in perfect working order. And in order to ensure the medical equipment you’ve invested so much in is up to performing its intended task, you’ve got to be aware of current standards. The Urgent Care Association will offer insights into how you can stay ahead of the need for calibration, preventive maintenance, and safety inspections in its next live webinar, Medical Equipment Maintenance, on Thursday, October 24, at 1 pm (Central). Speakers Jinesh Patel and Bill Dunne will present on understanding the UCA’s 2020 Bio-Medical Equipment Standards and Expectations; recognizing the different medical equipment service types; comprehending documentation requirements; and defining four best practices in an urgent care center. Cost to participate in the webinar is $50 for UCA members and $100 for nonmembers. For more information or to register, click here.
