“Excellence” is an overused, sometimes poorly understood concept. Yet, patients will let you know in no uncertain terms when you fail to provide service that measures up to that standard. The Urgent Care Association hopes to address that challenge in a two-part webinar, The Operationally Excellent Organization—Best Practices in the Industry, on December 3 at noon and December 10 at 1 pm (both times Central). The speaker for both parts will be Mark Reddinger, COO of Premier Health. The December 3 session will focus on creating an exceptional patient experience via urgent care center design and facility aesthetics. On December 10, he’ll discuss best practices in closing the visit at the front desk—and next steps after the visit occurs. According to UCA, “This webinar is required as part of the CUCMP program and fulfills the General Operation domain while providing learners the opportunity to earn 1.5 live CUCMP credits.” Cost is $75 for UCA members and $150 for nonmembers.
