American Family Care clinicians screen patients prior to treatment to ensure they meet criteria. Specifically, candidates must exhibit a body mass index (BMI) of 30—which is indicative of obesity—or a BMI of 27 with the presence of other chronic conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, or high cholesterol. The initial consultation is priced at $200.
