7-year-old girl presented after falling and twisting her left knee
Diagnosis: The x-ray reveals evidence of bone destruction in the proximal fifth toe and of the distal metatarsal (arrows). Patients with diabetes are prone to osteomyelitis. This patient needs immediate assessment in the hospital and treatment.
